Jean B. Duerr Memorial Scholarship

The Jean B. Duerr Memorial Scholarship is awarded annually by Chapter AU, P.E.O. in Blacksburg to deserving full-time undergraduate and graduate women students. Applicants must be enrolled at an accredited academic institution for the entire 2010-2011 academic year.

Criteria

High academic achievement (minimum 3.6 GPA)
Community service
Extra-curricular activities
Economic need (considered after the above factors)

How to Apply/Deadline

Completed applications must be postmarked no later than January 15, 2010 and returned to CHapter AU, PEO at PO box 10415, Blacksburg, VA 24062. No applications, even those with Jan. 15, 2010 postmarks, will be accepted for consideration after January 20, 2010. The U.S. Postal Service should be used when sending the completed applications. Please do not send applications via registered mail. Private carries do not deliver to post office boxes.
